anduseanypackagingmaterialsforshippingthataresuppliedtoyou.

ReplacingaRAIDadapterbatteryorﬂashpowermodule

UsethisinformationtoreplaceaRAIDadapterbatteryorﬂashpowermoduleintheserver.

WhenyouinstallanyRAIDadapterthatcomeswithbatteriesorﬂashpowermodules,itissometimes

necessarytoinstallthebatteriesorﬂashpowermodulesinanotherlocationintheservertopreventthe

batteriesorﬂashpowermodulesfromoverheating.Dependingonyourservermodel,abatterymustbe

installedremotelyneartheopticaldrivecageorthebackplane.
