Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoslidetheserveroutfromtherack
enclosure,turnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
ToreplaceaRAIDadapterbatteryorflashpowermoduleintheserver,completethefollowingsteps:
Step1.Installthebatteryorflashpowermodule:
a.Removetheretainer.
b.Releasetheretentionclipintheopenposition.
c.Alignthecableconnectorwiththeslotontheholder.Placethebatteryorflashpowermodule
intotheholderandmakesurethattheholderengagesthebatteryorflashpowermodule
securely.

g.Installtheretainer.
