Step1.DownloadLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLI:
a.Gotohttp://www.lenovo.com/support.
b.ClicktheDownloadstabatthetopofthepanel.
c.UnderToolsCenter,selectViewToolsCenterdownloads.
d.SelectLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLI.
e.Scrolldown,clickthelink,anddownloadthecorrectversionforyouroperatingsystem.
Step2.LenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLIsetstheUUIDintheIMM2.1.Selectoneofthefollowingmethodsto
accesstheIMM2.1tosettheUUID:
•Onlinefromthetargetsystem,suchasLANorkeyboardconsolestyle(KCS)access
•Remoteaccesstothetargetsystem(LANbased)
•BootablemediumcontainingLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLI(LANorKCS,dependingupon
thebootablemedia)
Step3.CopyandunpacktheLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLIpackage,whichalsoincludesotherrequired
files,totheserver.MakesurethatyouunpacktheLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLIandtherequired
filestothesamedirectory.
Step4.AfteryouinstallLenovoToolsCenterSuiteCLI,usethefollowingcommandsyntaxtosettheUUID:
oneclicongsetSYSTEM_PROD_DATA.SysInfoUUID<uuid_value>[access_method]
