Ifyouhavejustaddednewsoftwareoranewoptionaldeviceandtheserverisnotworking,completethe
followingstepsbeforeyouusethetroubleshootingtables:
Step1.Checkthesystem-errorLEDontheoperatorinformationpanel;ifitislit,checkthelightpath
diagnosticsLEDs(see“Lightpathdiagnostics”onpage131).
Step2.Removethesoftwareordevicethatyoujustadded.
Step3.RunDynamicSystemAnalysis(DSA)todeterminewhethertheserverisrunningcorrectly(for
informationaboutusingDSA,seeAppendixC“DSAdiagnostictestresults”onpage1041).
Step4.Reinstallthenewsoftwareornewdevice.
