Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toinstalltheoperatorinformationpanelassembly,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage182).
Step2.Openthebezel(see“Removingthebezel”onpage184).
Step3.Removetheairbaffle(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage188).
Step4.Removethefancageassembly(see“Removingthefancageassembly”onpage261).
Step5.Touchthestatic-protectivepackagethatcontainstheoperatorinformationpanelassemblytoany
unpaintedmetalsurfaceontheserver;then,removetheassemblyfromthepackage.
Step6.Angletheoperatorinformationpanelassembly,so,itsedgecanfitintotheguideslot.
