Theblue-screencapturefeaturecapturesthevideodisplaycontentsbeforetheIMM2.1restartstheserver
whentheIMM2.1detectsanoperating-systemhangcondition.Asystemadministratorcanusethe
blue-screencapturefeaturetoassistindeterminingthecauseofthehangcondition.

TheServeRAIDadapterprovideshardwareredundantarrayofindependentdisks(RAID)supportto
createconfigurations.ThestandardRAIDadapterprovidesRAIDlevels0,1,and10.AnoptionalRAID
adapterisavailableforpurchase.
•Systems-managementcapabilities
TheservercomeswithanIntegratedManagementModuleII(IMM2).WhentheIMM2.1isusedwiththe
systems-managementsoftwarethatcomeswiththeserver,youcanmanagethefunctionsoftheserver
locallyandremotely.TheIMM2.1alsoprovidessystemmonitoring,eventrecording,andnetworkalert
capability.Thesystems-managementconnectorontherearoftheserverisdedicatedtotheIMM2.1.
Thededicatedsystems-managementconnectorprovidesadditionalsecuritybyphysicallyseparatingthe
managementnetworktrafficfromtheproductionnetwork.YoucanusetheSetuputilitytoconfigurethe
servertouseadedicatedsystems-managementnetworkorasharednetwork.

TheUEFIfirmwareoffersseveralfeatures,includingUnifiedExtensibleFirmwareInterface(UEFI)
version2.1compliance,ActiveEnergyManagement(AEM)technology,enhancedreliability,availability,
andserviceability(RAS)capabilities,andbasicinput/outputsystem(BIOS)compatibilitysupport.
UEFIreplacestheBIOSanddefinesastandardinterfacebetweentheoperatingsystem,platform
firmware,andexternaldevices.TheserveriscapableofbootingUEFI-compliantoperatingsystems,
BIOS-basedoperatingsystems,andBIOS-basedadaptersaswellasUEFI-compliantadapters.
