inserted;opentheretainingclips,removetheDIMM,andthenreinsertit.
Step10.Reinstalltheairbaffleifitwasremovedbefore(see“Replacingtheairbaffle”onpage189).
Step11.Reinstallandlocktheleft-sidecover(see“Installingtheleft-sidecover”onpage183).
Ifyouhavereplacedaservercomponentorinstalledanoptionaldeviceintheserver,youneedtoreconnect
thepowercordsandallexternalcables,andturnontheserverandperipheraldevices.

Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremoveahypervisorflashdevice,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage182).
Step2.Removetheairbaffle(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage188).
Step3.Unlocktheretentionlatchbypushingitdowntowardthesystemboard.
