Removingthepowerpaddlecard
Usethisinformationtoremovethepowerpaddlecard.
Readthesafetyinformationin“Safety”onpagevand“Installationguidelines”onpage29.
Ifyouarereplacingaservercomponentintheserver,youneedtoturnofftheserverandperipheraldevices,
anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
Toremovethepowerpaddlecard,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Carefullyturntheserveronitssidesothatitislyingflat,withthecoverfacingup.
Attention:Donotallowtheservertofallover.
Step2.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage182).
Step3.Removetheairbaffle(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage188).
Step4.RemoveallPCIecardsfromthesystemboard.
