anddisconnectthepowercordsandallexternalcables.
ToremovetheUSBassemblyfromtheserver,completethefollowingsteps.
Step1.Carefullylaytheserverdownonitsside.
Step2.Unlockandremovetheleft-sidecover(see“Removingtheleft-sidecover”onpage182).
Step3.Removetheairbaffle(see“Removingtheairbaffle”onpage188).
Step4.DisconnecttheUSBassemblycablefromthesystemboard(see“System-boardinternal
connectors”onpage25
and“Internalcableroutingandconnectors”onpage33).
Step5.Standtheserverbackupinitsverticalposition.
Step6.Openthebezeldoor(see“Openingthebezeldoor”onpage179).
Step7.PressdownonthereleaselatchoftheUSBassembly;then,rotateittobereleasedawayfrom
theserver.
