System Overview
The LU Live Video Uplink unit simultaneously aggregates a number of
networking infrastructures (cellular, Wi-Fi and so on) in order to stream live
audio and video from field locations to the LU-1000 central server, which is
usually located in a broadcasting center.
The LU-1000 server gathers the live video feed via a secure Internet
connection and is then able to supply this feed to the production suite, routing
table, website and such for further processing.
The technology offers a viable alternative to traditional uplinks, both in terms
of video quality, as well as in pricing, immediacy of service, availability and
portability.
An example of a typical deployment of the LU (client) and LU-1000 (server) is
shown below:
