The main factors when deciding target resolution are the quality of the
broadcast and the delay. For example, if the event is a sporting event
(Olympics, a ball game and so on), then it is important to use the highest
bitrate available. If the broadcast is an interview after the game, then a lower
bitrate is effective. If the broadcast is for the Internet, it is not always
necessary to use a resolution greater than CIF or half D1.
Profiles Window
This Profiles button indicates the selected Profile, according to which the LU is
currently operating, as follows:
Interview
Balanced
Max Quality
You can tap this button to display information about the selected Profile and to
select a different Profile or reconfigure the settings of any Profile.
