Remove the lid of the oil storage box② and the
liner of the oil cup③.
As Fig. 5.3.24.
Discharge brake fluid.
Remove the dust cover .⑤
As Fig. 5.3.25.
Use a special tool to remove the open spring ring⑥.
Tools used;
Spring clasp pliers
Remove piston/auxiliary pump and return spring ①

Main cylinder inspection
Check the main cylinder diameter for cylinder
pulling or other damage.
Check piston surface for scratches or other
damage.As in Fig.5.3.27.
Main cylinder is reassembled and installed
Reassemble and install the main cylinder in the
reverse order of disassembly and disassembly.
