Separate the inner tube from the outer tube.As in
Fig.5.4.7
Remove the following parts: oil seal , sliding ③
metal ring , oil lock piece ④ ⑤.As in Fig.5.4.8
Front fork spring
Measure the free length of the front fork spring, and
replace it with a new one if it is shorter than the service
limit.
As Fig. 5.4.9.
Limit of use:301mm
Inner tube and outer tube
Inspect the inner tube, outer tube and damping rod ring
for scratches, wear, bending or other abnormalities in
their sliding.As in Fig.5.4.10.
Reassemble and install
Reinstall in the reverse order of the removal steps,
following the instructions below.
Note:
Thoroughly clean all assembled parts.
Inadequate cleaning can lead to oil leakage or
premature wear of parts.
When reassembling the front fork, use the new oil.
Use the specified fork oil.
When reassembling, replace with new sliding metal,
oil seal, dust seal and damping rod bolt gaskets.
