On the inner tube, assemble the following parts: As
in Fig.5.4.11
Dustproof seal①
Oil seal plug ring②
oil seal③
oil seal holder④
Sliding metal⑤
⑥ sleeve
Note:
To prevent damage to the lip edge of the oil seal (3),
apply the inner tube with vinyl sheet during installation.
Install the inner pipe to the outer pipe while
installing the oil seal on the inner pipe.
Apply super grease "A" to the inside of the oil seal
and install it into the outer tube using the front fork oil
seal installer.As in Fig.5.4.12
Note: Clean the front fork oil seal installer before use.
Inner tubes may be damaged if there is dust on the
installer and if pressed into them during assembly.
Install stop ring and dust seal ring .② ①

Install the spring⑦on the damping rod ⑥, and then
install them together on the inner tube.As in Fig.5.4.14
Apply thread glue "1324" to the damping rod
bolt .②
In the case that the shock absorber rod is fixed,
tighten the bolt of the shock absorber rod with the ②
washer①installed.②

Damping rod bolts for front fork: 20N∙m (2.0kg∙m)
