Warning: Replace with a new washer.
The front fork oil
When the inner tube is in the fully compressed
position, a specified amount of front fork oil is poured
into the inner tube and several strokes are performed to
expel air.
Front fork oil: SS -- 08 (#10)
SpecificationsFront fork oil (per fork) : 330 ml
As Fig. 5.4.16.
Holding the front fork in a vertical position,
compress the inner tube completely.
Wait until the liquid level stabilizes, then measure
the liquid level using a special tool and adjust it to a
specified position.
Tools: front fork oil level gauge
Specifications for front fork oil Level: 105 mm.As
in Fig.5.4.17.
Install front fork spring.
Install spring guide plate, front fork internal
gasket and O-ring.As in Fig.5.4.18.
Install o-rings on front fork bolts and apply super
grease "A".As in Fig.5.4.19.
Note: Replace the new O-ring to prevent oil leakage.
Attach the front fork to the motorcycle.
Align the upper surface A of the inner bobbin with
the upper surface B of the bracket on the steering lever.
