Remove the steering rod nut with a special tool④.

Tools: steering lever nut wrench
Pull out steering lever lower bracket assembly.
Note:
Hold the steering lever lower bracket to
prevent it from falling suddenly.
Remove the dust cover ⑤, upper bearing ⑥ and
upper bearing inner ring⑦. As in Fig.5.5.20.
Remove the lower bearing①.As in Fig.5.5.21.
Inspection
Check whether the unloaded parts have the
following abnormalities:
Handlebar deformation
The handlebar pressure is worn
Seat ring wear and surface deformation
Bearing wear or damage
Abnormal bearing noise
Steering rod deformation
As in Fig.5.5.22.
Use a special tool to remove the upper and lower bearing
rings of the steering lever.
