Re-install
Reassembly of the intermediate shaft and drive shaft may be carried out in reverse order of disassembly.
The following points should be noted:
Note:
Before mounting gears, lightly coat intermediate and drive shafts with a paste of lubricant
or engine oil.
Note:
Shaft retainer should never be used again.
When removed from the shaft, a new shaft must be replaced with a retainer.
When installing a new shaft retainer, the end gap shall not be enlarged beyond the gap
required to slide the spring ring onto the shaft.
After installing the shaft retainer, ensure that it is fully in its slot and fits tightly.
When installing a new shaft retainer, note the direction
of the shaft retainer.
Install it on the side of the thrust direction shown.
The circular side is facing the gear surface. As in
Fig.3.4.74
Crimp the 2 gear driving gear on the intermediate
shaft.
Before reinstallation, apply cylindrical part holding
glue to the inner surface and properly assemble the gears so
that the length A is as shown.
