FR2 OFF When turned to OFF position, car returns to main egress floor and reverts to Phase 1 Fire

FR2 ON Places car on Phase 2 Fire Service. ON position of firefighter in car switch
FRSA OTHER When OFF (active low) car returns to alternate recall level on Phase 1 Fire and flashes fire
hat. Other cars ALT recall input (from MR or Hoistway)
FRSM OTHER When this input goes low, car returns to main egress floor on Phase 1 fire. Other cars
MAIN recall input (from MR or Hoistway)
HC CANCEL When active, cancels any remaining hall calls. Hall Call cancel
IND SERV When active, places car on Independent Service. Independent service
LOAD DISP Load Weigher input that shortens door dwell time when activated (full car). Dispatch load
LOAD HEAVY When active, causes car to bypass hall call until load in car decreases. Heavy load
LOAD LIGHT Used for anti-nuisance. If not activated only programmed number of car calls can be
latched. Placing more than this number will cancel all car calls. Light load
LOAD OVER When active, doors will be held open until load diminishes. Bypassed by FRS. Overload
LOAD OVER2 When active, doors will be held open until load diminished. Not bypassed by FRS. Overload
2 (for over 125% full load only)
PFG ENABL When assigned, passing floor chime will only sound when this button is pressed. Passing
floor gong enable button
PHE Optical reopening means for door connects here. When active, causes doors to reopen.
Photo eye
PHE C Optical reopening means for door connects here. When low, causes doors to reopen.
Photo eye, active low
PHE CUT When active disables photo eye input. Photo eye cutout
PIT FLOOD When active, prevents car from servicing floors below programmed flood level. Flood level
switch
PTI When active, causes car to stop at nearest floor and cycle doors. Car is then taken out of
service. Power transfer input
PTI C When low, causes car to stop at nearest floor and cycle doors. Car is then taken out of ser-
vice. Power transfer input, active low
R2 Used for absolute floor encoding on LS-STAN and LS-QUTE. Floor encoding input.
RECALL S1 When active, recalls car to programmed floor. See CONFIG 03 Recall Switches
RECALL S2 When active, recalls car to programmed floor. See CONFIG 03 Recall Switches
RECALL S3 When active, recalls car to programmed floor. See CONFIG 03 Recall Switches
RECALL S4 When active, recalls car to programmed floor. See CONFIG 03 Recall Switches
SAFE EDGE When active, reopens doors. Door safe edge
SAF EDGE C When low, opens doors. Door safe edge, active low.
SECRTY OV When active, bypasses security. Security override.
SMI Input fed by a switch that tells us that we have lost traction. Suspension Means Integrity.
Traction only.
STD Slow down vane or magnet for down direction of travel. Also used for floor encoding. Step
Down
STU Slow down vane or magnet for up direction of travel. Also used for floor encoding. Step Up
ULM Used to locate floor for pre-opening and for final approach. Inner leveling zone is set by
ULM and DZ. Up level marker
