Half-page reception
When you receive two pages of documents comparable to A4
, A5 , or B5
consecutively, you can set them to fit on one sheet of paper and print. For
details on setting the half-page reception function, refer to “Other Settings”
(page 8-17).
• When paper the same size as the received documents is loaded, the half-page
reception is invalid.
• When the reception reduction rate is set to “Auto”, each page of the received
documents are automatically reduced to 1/2 the length of the paper (printing area),
so the reduction rate may vary even on the same page.
• When you receive documents which are larger than A4
, A5 , or B5 and the
length exceeding A4
, A5 , or B5 is longer than the reduction margin, the half-
page reception function is not carried out.
• The printing method differs depending on the set reception reduction rate and the
length of the received document. For details, refer to “Recording list” (page 3-35).
Duplex reception
When the optional duplex print unit is installed, you can print received
documents on both sides of the paper. For details on setting the duplex
reception function, refer to “Other Settings” (page 8-17).
Rotate reception

Automatically measures the width and length of the received document to select
the most appropriate paper.
•
If the direction of the received document is different from of the paper, the
received document automatically is rotated and printed.
