Selecting the paper before copying
Select the cassette in which your desired paper is loaded before copying. When
you copy onto the paper which cannot be (is not) loaded in the paper cassette,
use the bypass tray.
You can select the paper as follows:
• Auto
Automatically select the paper cassette in which the appropriate paper
is loaded based on the document size and the specified ratio. To allow the
bypass tray to be selected, you need to set it in advance (page 8-30).
• Paper cassette
Manually select the cassette in which your desired paper is loaded.
• Bypass tray
Load the desired copy in the bypass tray and select it. Load the paper
which cannot be loaded in the paper cassette, postcards, or custom paper
etc. (page 1-48)

Load your document and press <Copy>.
Set the document type and contrast as necessary (page 2-10).

Press [Paper].

Select the paper to copy on using the cursor keys and press [Enter].
When the ratio is set to auto, and set paper to auto, the ratio is changed
to 100%.

Enter the number of copies using the numeric keys.
You can set from 1 to 999.
Without setting the number of copies, one copy is made.

Press <Start> to start copying.
