10.1.1 Special Precautions
Important note about saving screen data files
The following measures should be taken to protect against data loss in the event that screen data files
become damaged or missing.
Always back up screen data files.
Screen data saved in the GT main unit could possibly be destroyed by noise in the system. To protect
against such a loss, screen data files which have been created should be backed up and saved in both a
personal computer and on a floppy disk. (Data destroyed by noise cannot be retrieved.)
Make hard copies of your data
Files which have been created should always be printed out and a hard copy stored in a safe place, in
case programs are lost or data is inadvertently destroyed.
