are

in
movies.

B Notes on Smear
When framing bright subjects, vertical comet-like streaks that whiten toward either end may appear
in the display. This phenomenon, known
as
"smear," does
not
indicate a malfunction.
In
shooting modes other than high-speed continuous or movie, smear
has
no
effect on the images
that
are
recorded.
When
using
the
high-speed
continuous
shooting
and
movie
modes,
however,
we
recommend
that
you avoid shooting bright objects.
