The FCN key toggles between three coverage modes:
• detect dBm coverage
• detect overlap or conflicts
• confirm supported data rates
Note: The wireless handset remains in Site Survey mode until it is
powered off.
3 When testing is complete, press Power Off / End Call
to power off the
wireless handset.
End of Procedure
Numbers racing across the wireless handset display indicate AP information
is being obtained. A
Waiting message indicates the system is not configured
properly and the wireless handset cannot find any APs.
Detect dBm coverage
Press
FCN to toggle to the Site Survey function that shows the top four APs.
Walk the perimeter of the site. The two-line display on the wireless handset
shows the top four APs that the wireless handset can contact. The information
is shown in code as follows.
