3 Click the Edit Tags button.
The Edit Tags Dialog Box is displayed.
Register the input (consume) tags and output (produce) tags separately.
4 Click the In - Consume Tab, and then click the New button. The Edit Tag Dialog Box is dis-
played.
5 In the Name Field, enter the character string for the CPU Unit's I/O memory address or a net-
work variable (e.g., 100, W100, D0, Inputs).
Precautions for Correct Use
When using PLCs that support network variables, avoid using a name that is similar to an
address in CX-Programmer, such as W100. If a name is chosen that is similar to an address,
importing network variables into CX-Programmer will result in error.
