Divergence 4.4.4.1
For the most accurate measurement of divergence, a data point should be taken at the focal length of the
lens.
If it is not possible to obtain beam width measurements at the focal length of the focusing optic the software
will use a Fitted Divergence feature.
Fitted Divergence calculates the divergence from the curve fit rather than the actual data point at the focal
length.
Be sure to use converted focal length when measuring wavelengths other than the wavelength
where the lens focal length was provided by the manufacturer.
