4. To remove the fast fuse (A4, page 18),
release the two nuts that fasten it to the
fuse panel and remove the fuse.
5. To t a fuse, push the fuse into its
holder. The fast fuse is retained by two
nuts.
Fit the cover and tighten the two nuts.
New fuses can be obtained from your
Perkins distributor. The part numbers for
the fuses are listed in the table below.
It is recommended that an extra set of
fuses is included in the supplementary tool
kit and retained on-board
Start retard mechanism
The fuel injection pump has an electrical
start retard mechanism that retards the
injection timing from the fully advanced
position, for starting, to the normal
operating condition as the engine warms.
The start retard mechanism begins to
operate at a coolant temperature of
55
O
C (131
O
F). A green lamp can be seen
through a hole in the cover of the fuse
panel to indicate that the start retard is in
operation.
4. Per montare un fusibile, inlarlo nel
portafusibile. Il fusibile ad azione rapida è
ssato da due dadi.
5. Montare il coperchio e serrare i due
dadi.
I nuovi fusibili possono essere reperiti
presso il concessionario Perkins. I numeri
di parte dei fusibili sono elencati nella
tabella qui sotto.
Si raccomanda di includere una serie extra
di fusibili nel kit di attrezzi supplementari e
di conservarla a bordo
Meccanismo di ritardo dell’avviamento
La pompa di iniezione è dotata di
meccanismo di ritardo dell’avviamento
che ritarda la fasatura dell’iniezione dalla
posizione completamente anticipata
per l’avviamento, a quella d’esercizio
normale non appena il motore si riscalda.
Il meccanismo di ritardo dell’avviamento
inizia a funzionare quando la temperatura
del liquido refrigerante raggiunge i 55
O
C
(131
O
F). È possibile vedere attraverso
un foro nel coperchio del pannello
portafusibili una spia verde che indica che
il dispositivo di ritardo dell’avviamento sta
funzionando.
4. Druk de zekering in de houder om deze
aan te brengen. De snelle zekering wordt
vastgezet met twee moeren.
5. Breng de beschermkap aan en haal de
twee moeren aan.
Nieuwe zekeringen zijn verkrijgbaar bij
uw Perkins dealer. Zie onderstaande
tabel voor de onderdeelnummers van de
zekeringen.
Geadviseerd wordt om een reserveset
zekeringen mee aan boort te nemen in de
gereedschapkist.
Startvertragingsmechanisme
De brandstonspuitpomp is
voorzien van een elektrisch
startvertragingsmechanisme dat de
inspuittijd van volledig vervroegd
bij het starten geleidelijk aan weer
terugzet naar de normale stand tijdens
het opwarmen van de motor. Het
startvertragingsmechanisme begint te
werken bij een koelvloeistoftemperatuur
van 55
O
C (131
O
F). Een groene
lamp, te zien via een opening in het
zekeringenpaneel, licht op om aan te
geven dat de startvertraging in werking is.
