How to renew an atomiser
Cautions:
• Atomiser must be removed and tted
by a person with the correct training.
• Do not allow dirt to enter the
fuel system. Before a connection is
disconnected, clean thoroughly the area
around the connection. After a component
has been disconnected, t a suitable cover
to all open connections.
1. Clean thoroughly the area around the
atomiser to be removed.
2. Remove the fuel leak-off pipe from the
connection (A2).
3. Remove the union nuts of the high-
pressure pipe from the atomiser and
from the fuel injection pump. Do not bend
the pipe. If necessary, remove the pipe
clamps. Fit a plastic cap (A1) to cover the
fuel inlet connectrion.
Caution: Remove and discard the seat
washer (A5). If the original seat washer
remains in the recess for the atomiser, the
nozzle protrusion will be incorrect when a
new seat washer is added. This will affect
engine performance.
4. Release the clamp nut (A3) and remove
the atomiser and its seat washer from the
recess in the cylinde head.
5. Thoroughly clean the threads of the
clamp nut and the clinder head.
Come sostituire un iniettore
Attenzione:
• Gli iniettori devono essere smontati e
rimontati da personale opportunamente
addestrato.
• Evitare l’ingresso di sporcizia
nell’impianto di alimentazione. Prima di
scollegare un raccordo, pulire a fondo la
zona circostante. Dopo aver scollegato
un componente, montare un coperchio
idoneo su tutti i raccordi aperti.
1. Pulire a fondo la zona attorno
all’iniettore da sostituire.
2. Scollegare la tubazione di recupero del
combustibile dal raccordo (A2).
3. Svitare i dadi di raccordo della
tubazione dell’alta pressione dall’iniettore
e dalla pompa di iniezione. Non piegare
la tubazione. Se necessario staccare le
fascette. Montare un tappo di plastica
(A1) per coprire il raccordo di entrata del
combustibile.
Attenzione: Slare e scartare la
rondella della sede (A5). Se la rondella
originale della sede rimane nel recesso
dell’iniettore, la sporgenza dell’ugello sarà
errata quando si aggiunge una nuova
rondella della sede. Questo fatto inuirà
negativamente sul rendimento del motore.
4. Allentare il dado del morsetto (A3) e
smontare l’iniettore e la rispettiva rondella
della sede dalla gola nella testata.
5. Pulire a fondo i letti del dado del
morsetto e della testata.

Voorzichtig:
• De verstuivers moeten worden
verwijderd en aangebracht door een
persoon met de juiste opleiding.
• Zorg ervoor dat geen vuil in het
brandstofsysteem kan komen. Reinig,
alvorens een aansluiting los te maken, de
ruimte rondom deze aansluiting grondig.
Nadat een onderdeel is losgemaakt,
dient een passende afdichting te worden
aangebracht over alle open aansluitingen.
1. Maak het gebied rond de te verwijderen
verstuiver grondig schoon.
2. Verwijder de brandstofretourleiding van
de aansluiting (A2).
3. Verwijder de wartelmoeren van de
hogedrukleiding van de verstuiver en
van de brandstonspuitpomp. Buig de
leiding niet. Verwijder, indien nodig, de
leidingklemmen. Breng een plastic dop
(A1) aan over de aansluiting van de
brandstonlaat.
Voorzichtig: Verwijder de sluitring van
de zitting en gooi deze weg (A5). Indien
de originele sluitring in de uitsparing
voor de verstuiver blijft zitten, steekt de
verstuivernaald incorrect uit wanneer
een nieuwe sluitring wordt aangebracht.
Dit heeft invloed op de prestaties van de
motor.
4. Draai de klemmoer (A3) los en
verwijder de verstuiver en de sluitring
van de zitting uit de uitsparing in de
cilinderkop.
5. De schroefdraad van de klemmoer en
de cilinderkop grondig reinigen.
