Lubricating oil specication
Use only a good quality lubricating which
is not less than the specication below:
Naturally aspirated engines should use
API CD or ACEA E1. API CF4 or ACEA
E2 can be used, but is not recommended
during the rst 20 to 40 hours nor for light
load applications.
Turbocharged engines should use API
CF4 or ACEA E3.
Caution: The type of lubricating oil to be
used may be affected by the quality of the
fuel which is available. For further details,
see “Fuel specication” on page 59.
Always ensure that the correct viscosity
grade of lubricating oil is used for the
ambient temperature range in which the
engine will run as shown in the chart (A).

E1. Si può anche usare l’olio API CF4 o
ACEA E2 che non è però raccomandato
durante le prime 20-40 ore e neppure per
le applicazioni a carico leggero.
I motori turbocompressi devono usare
l’olio API CF4 o ACEA E3.
Attenzione: Il tipo di olio lubricante
da usare può anche dipendere dalla
qualità del combustibile disponibile. Per
ulteriori dettagli, vedere ‘Specica del
combustibile” a pag. 59.
Accertarsi che venga usato sempre
l’olio lubricante con il corretto grado di
viscosità per la gamma di temperature
ambiente in cui il motore deve funzionare,
come indicato nella tabella (A).

Gebruik uitsluitend smeerolie van een
goede kwaliteit die tenminste voldoet aan
de volgende specicaties:
Gebruik voor niet opgeladen motoren
API CD of ACEA E1. API CD of ACEA
E2 kan worden gebruikt, maar wordt niet
aanbevolen gedurende de eerste 20 tot 40
uur of bij lichte belastingen.
Gebruik voor motoren met
turbocompressor API CF4 of ACEA E3.
Voorzichtig: De te gebruiken olie kan
afhankelijk zijn van de kwaliteit van
de verkrijgbare brandstof. Voor meer
informatie, zie “Brandstofspecicatie” op
pagina 59.
Zorg er altijd voor dat olie met de juiste
viscositeit wordt gebruikt voor het
omgevingstemperatuur-bereik waarin de
motor wordt gebruikt; zie graek (A).
