How to drain the raw water
system
Caution: The raw water system cannot
be drained completely. If the system is
drained for engine preservation purposes
or for protection from frost, the system
must be lled again with an approved
antifreeze mixture. See “Coolant
specication” in section 5 for details of the
correct coolant to be used. See section 7
for details of how to add antifreeze to the
raw water system for engine preservation
purposes.
1. Ensure that the seacock is closed.
2. Loosen the six setscrews (A1) of
the cover for the raw water pump and
withdraw slightly the cover.
3. Rotate the crankshaft to ensure that the
raw water pump is empty.
4. Tighten the six setscrews of the cover
for the raw water pump.
Caution: When the raw water system is
to be used again, ensure that the seacock
is open.
5. If it is necessary to drain the raw water
from the heat exchanger, put a plastic bag
(B2) over the alternator to protect it from
the water.
6. Remove the drain plug (B1) and drain
the heat exchanger. Ret the drain plug
and remove the plasic bag.
Come scaricare l’impianto
dell’acqua bruta
Attenzione: L’impianto dell’acqua bruta
non può essere scaricato completamente.
Se l’impianto viene scaricato ai ni
della preservazione del motore o per
proteggerlo dal gelo, bisogna riempirlo
di nuovo con una miscela di antigelo di
tipo approvato. Vedere “Caratteristiche
tecniche del liquido refrigerante” nella
Sezione 5 per informazioni riguardanti
il liquido corretto da usare nell’impianto
di raffreddamento. Vedere la Sezione
7 per informazioni su come aggiungere
antigelo all’impianto dell’acqua bruta per
preservare il motore.
1. Accertarsi che la presa dell’acqua di
mare sia chiusa.
2. Allentare le sei viti di ssaggio (A1) del
coperchio della pompa dell’acqua bruta ed
estrarre leggermente il coperchio.
3. Ruotare l’albero motore per fare in
modo che la pompa dell’acqua bruta sia
vuota.
4. Serrare le sei viti di ssaggio del
coperchio della pompa dell’acqua bruta.
Attenzione: Quando l’impianto dell’acqua
bruta deve essere usato nuovamente,
controllare che la presa dell’acqua di mare
sia aperta.
5. Se è necessario scaricare l’acqua
bruta dallo scambiatore di calore, coprire
l’alternatore con un sacchetto di plastica
(B2) per proteggerlo dall’acqua.
6. Togliere il tappo di scarico (B1) e
scaricare lo scambiatore di calore.
Rimontare il tappo di scarico e togliere il
sacchetto di plastica.

buitenboordwatersysteem
Voorzichtig: Het buitenboord-
watersysteem kan niet volledig worden
afgetapt. Wanneer de koelvloeistof wordt
afgetapt voor het behoud van de motor
of ter bescherming tegen vorst, dient het
koelvloeistofsysteem te worden gevuld
met een goedgekeurd antivriesmengsel.
Zie “Koelvloeistofspecicatie” in sectie
5 voor details m.b.t. het gebruik van de
correcte koelvloeistof. Zie sectie 7 voor
details over het bijvullen van antivries
in het buitenboordwatersysteem m.b.t.
motoronderhoud.
1. De buitenboordwaterkraan moet dicht
zijn.
2. Draai de zes klembouten los
(A1) van de beschermplaat voor de
buitenboordwaterpomp en verwijder de
plaat iets.
3. Draai de krukas om te controleren of de
buitenboordwaterpomp leeg is.
4. Draai de zes klembouten
van de beschermplaat voor de
buitenboordwaterpomp vast.
Voorzichtig: Wanneer het
buitenboordwatersysteem opnieuw
gebruikt moet worden, controleer dan of
de buitenboordkraan open is.
5. Wanneer buitenboordwater moet
worden afgetapt uit de warmtewisselaar,
breng dan een plastic zak (B2) aan over
de wisselstroomdynamo om deze tegen
het water te beschermen.
6. Verwijder de aftapplug (B1) en tap de
warmtewisselaar af. Breng de aftapplug
weer aan en verwijder de plastic zak.
