Free rotation of the propeller
shaft or “trailing”
The propeller shaft of both the Newage
PRM 500D and the ZF-Hurth HBW 450A
reverse gearboxes can be allowed to turn
continuously with the control lever in the
neutral position.
The recommendations of the manufacturer
of the reverse gearbox must be followed.
Operation of the lever for gear
selection
Newage PRM 500D reverse gearbox (A)
For same-as-crankshaft rotation, move the
lever to the position (A1).
To put the reverse gearbox into neutral,
move the lever to the centre position (A2).
For opposite-to-crankshaft rotation, move
the lever to the position (A3).
ZF-Hurth HBW 450A (B)
For same-as-crankshaft rotation, move the
lever to the position (B3).
To put the reverse gearbox into neutral,
move the lever to the position (B2).
For opposite-to-crankshaft rotation, move
the lever to the position (B1).

L’albero portaelica degli invertitori Newage
PRM 500D e ZF-Hurth HBW 450A può
essere fatto funzionare continuamente con
la leva di comando in folle.
Seguire alla lettera le raccomandazioni del

Per ottenere una rotazione analoga a
quella dell’albero motore, spostare la leva
sulla posizione (A1).
Per mettere in folle l’invertitore, spostare
la leva sulla posizione centrale (A2).
Per una rotazione opposta a quella
dell’albero motore, spostare la leva sulla
posizione (A3).
ZF-Hurth HBW 450A (B)
Per una rotazione analoga a quella
dell’albero motore, spostare la leva sulla
posizione (B3).
Per mettere in folle l’invertitore, spostare
la leva sulla posizione (B2).
Per una rotazione opposta a quella
dell’albero motore, spostare la leva sulla
posizione (B1).

keerkoppeling mag continu meedraaien
met de bedieningshendel “in de vrij”.
De aanbevelingen van de fabrikant van de
keerkoppeling moeten worden opgevolgd.
Gebruik van de schakelhendel
Newage PRM 500D keerkoppeling (A)
Om de keerkoppeling in dezelfde richting
te laten draaien als de krukas, de hendel
naar stand (A1) bewegen.
Om de keerkoppeling in vrijloopstand te
plaatsen, de hendel in de middenstand
(A2) zetten.
Om de keerkoppeling tegen de
draairichting van de krukas in te laten
draaien, de hendel naar stand (A3)
bewegen.
ZF-Hurth HBW 450A (B)
Om de keerkoppeling in dezelfde richting
te laten draaien als de krukas, de hendel
naar stand (B3) bewegen.
Om de keerkoppeling in vrijloopstand te
plaatsen, de hendel in stand (B2) zetten.
Om de keerkoppeling tegen de
draairichting van de krukas in te laten
draaien, de hendel naar stand (B1)
bewegen.
