Reducing the source signal level
• Default setting:ATT OFF
Some auxilliary sources may produce a high
signal level which may produce unpleasant
distortion if recorded on the built-in tape
recorder. In such cases, you may need to
reduce the signal level of the line source by
switching on the attenuator.
1 Switch the system into standby.
2 Press ENTER.
3 Use the
/
buttons to select the
attenuation (LINE ATT) display.
On the front panel use 4/1 and
¡/¢.
4 Press ENTER.
The current setting is shown in the display.
5 Use the
/
buttons to select ATT ON
or ATT OFF.
On the front panel use 4/1 and
¡/¢.
6 Press ENTER to confirm.
When ATT ON is selected, LINE ATT shows
in the display when LINE is selected.
