2. Position the patient’s midsagittal plane so that it coincides with the
midsagittal plane light.
3. Position the patient’s Frankfort plane so that it coincides with the
Frankfort plane light.
To do this, adjust the tilt of the patient’s head by raising or lowering the
X-ray unit with the height adjusting buttons. The patient’s back and neck
must be straight.
