3. Position the patient’s Frankfort plane so that it coincides with the
Frankfort plane light. To do this, adjust the tilt of the patient’s head by
raising or lowering the X-ray unit with the height adjusting buttons. The
patient’s back and neck must be straight.
The Frankfort plane light is located inside the column. The light’s position
can be adjusted if needed. This is done by rotating the thumb wheel
below the light slot.
