15.4.2 Replacing the protective window of the exchangeable cassette
1. Insert a blunt tool into the Ø3mm bore.
2. Push the retaining ring with Teflon disk out of the exchangeable cassette, grasp it by the circumference
and lift it out.
The retaining ring is held magnetically in the exchangeable cassette.
3. Carefully push the protective window out of the exchangeable cassette from below.
If the inner O-ring sticks to the protective window, remove it and reinsert it into the exchange cassette.
4. Put on suitable gloves.
5. Check the cleaned or a new protective window for contamination.
6. Insert the new protective window into the exchangeable cassette.
7. Place the Teflon disk under the magnetic retaining ring and place it on the protective window.
8. Check that the protective window mount is securely seated.
The retaining ring with Teflon disc and protective window must rest flat inside the exchangeable cassette.
