TIGRIS System Operators Manual 7-1
Volume I: Operating the Instrument Part # 902649EN Rev. A
Use the Logoff/Shutdown screen to unload Assay Reagents, empty waste containers independent of
Lower Bay Inventory, log off the software, and/or shut down the PROCLEIX
®
TIGRIS System.
Logging Off
An operator can log out without shutting down the PROCLEIX
®
TIGRIS System. Log out if
another operator will be logging in or if the workstation will not be in use for several hours.
To log off, click Logoff Current Operator on the Logoff/Shutdown
screen.
The system logs off, removes the username from the Status Bar
at the bottom of the screen,
and displays the Logon
screen, so that the next operator can logon.
Unloading ARs
ARs must be unloaded before the system is shut down.
1. On the Logoff/Shutdown
screen, click Unload Assay Reagents….
The System displays a confirmation dialog box warning that the Upper Bay inventory
will be invalid.
2. Click OK.
The AR, TCR, and Sample Doors unlock, and an Unload Assay Reagents
window
opens. The window displays a summary of the ARs that are currently loaded.

the AR Carousel Cover, remove the AR Carousel with the other hand. Replace the

SECTION 7. SHUTTING DOWN
Note: Do not log out of the operator account if the system is going to be shut down. When
the system is shut down, the software automatically logs out the current operator.
Note: In-process worklists continue processing.
Note: The Unload Assay Reagents button is disabled when the system is processing
samples. However, ARs can be unloaded when the system is running an automated
maintenance task.
Note: To prevent contamination, always use a new cap when re-capping an AR
bottle.
