WNV Assay
For the PROCLEIX ULTRIO Assay and PROCLEIX WNV Assay, quadrants 1-3 of the AR
Carousel contain wedges that hold the Amplification Reagent, Enzyme Reagent, Probe
Reagent, and Selection Reagent. The TCR Carousel in the Sample Bay is also labeled with
quadrant numbers to correspond to the AR Carousel. Figure 1.5 shows an AR Wedge.

Quadrant 4 of the AR Carousel contains a wedge that holds the Discriminatory Probe Reagents.
For Discriminatory Assays, the Discriminatory Probe Reagent in quadrant 4 will be run with the
AR set in quadrant 3. Even though the Probe Reagent in quadrant 3 will not be used for the
discriminatory assay, it still must be loaded in quadrant 3 with the rest of the AR set.

The Discriminatory Wedge in quadrant 4 can be replaced with one that is not specific to
Discriminatory Assays.
