The ROX8R/8T is an additional feature to the Matrix panel, which will enable all 12 programmable outputs on
the matrix panel to be used. (Internal sounders, smoke detectors may be connected to the output expander.
See cabling restrictions in section 4 for the KEN values, which may be used with the output expander.
NOTE: The relay output expander provides voltage free change over contacts. (This is more flexible
and can isolate the circuit from the system).
NOTE: In order to create a tamper loop for a Matrix 424, the connection from KTR must go into a zone
programmed as ‘Tamper’; Other terminal connections as the same as for the Matrix 832.
