External Sounder
Normal Operation - The sounders will operate using the standard bell time and re-arm settings.
French Operation - The resulting bell output (type 14) operation is as follows:
The Bell time is fixed to 3 minutes (or seconds if bell time in seconds is selected).
No more than 4 bell activations are allowed per arm period.
The resulting Internal Keypad sounder operation is:
If all zones are closed at the end of the Bell time, the internal sounders stop.
If any zone is open at the end of the Bell time, the sounders continue until the zone is closed or the
panel is disarmed.
Bell Restore Log Event:
The Bell restoral log event (r2) is logged whenever a sounder stops. I.e., if the bell has activated 4
times the restoral will be logged each time the bell times out, or after 4 activations the restoral will be
logged when the internal sounders time out and all zones are closed.
Re-arms
The re-arms feature interferes with the French Sounder operation, therefore when the French Sounder
is enabled the re-arms feature is disabled.
Internal Sounder Programmable Output Type
Any of the 4 outputs can be programmed to be an internal sounder. This sounder will follow the
operation of the keypad alarm tones.
The number for Internal Sounder is type 16.
Zone Restorals
Allow After Disarm – Allows the transmission and logging of zone restorals via the on-board digital
communicator, but only after disarm if the zone has previously caused an alarm transmission.
Do Not Allow After Disarm – Does not allow the transmission and logging of zone restorals via the on-board
digital communicator, but only after disarm if the zone has previously caused an alarm transmission.

Enter BV followed by one digit for the desired partition number [1 - 4]. To choose an option use the
> and ? buttons. To change an option setting, press the C button. To save the changes press B. An
acceptance tone will be played.
