7.9.2.6 Setting the Contrast of the LCD Display
Enter BUWY. The following display will be shown.
MATRIX
Adjust contrast
Use up - down keys
The F key reduces the contrast
The
G key increases the contrast
Press
B to accept the new contrast setting.
The LCD contrast controls the darkness of the characters shown on the LCD display.
By default the contrast is set to an optimum setting and will not automatically need to be changed. Care must
be exercised when changing the contrast so as not to loose the display completely.
7.9.3 Proximity Reader Programming
7.9.3.1 Proximity Reader Partition Allocation
Enter BUWZ followed by 1 digit to choose proximity reader ID number from [1 - 4]. The current setting will
be displayed. Press [1 - 4] to assign partitions to the reader. To save the changes press
B, an acceptance
tone will be played.
The function will repeat from the beginning. Press
BB to exit proximity reader partition allocation
programming.
7.9.3.2 Proximity Reader Private / Public Mode
Enter BUW[ followed by the one digit for the desired proximity reader ID number [1 - 4]. To select an
option number use
> and ? buttons. To change an option setting press the C button.
To save the changes press
B. An acceptance tone will be played.

7.9.4 Changing Default Language on LCD Keypad
Enter BUX. The following display will be shown.

Enter the keypad number [1 - 4] for the keypad you wish to change the language of. The following display will
be shown.

SELECT LANGUAGE
ENGLISH
Use the F or G keys to select a language. Press B to accept the language. The function will
automatically exit.
Note: The language change will take effect only after leaving Engineer Mode.
