Heater control valve
If
signs
of
leaking are apparent around the
operating
plunger
of
the control valve this
would
indicate a faulty diaphragm and a
new
valve
will
have
to
be
fitted.
To
remove
1 Disconnect heater hose and control cable
from control valve.
2 Remove
1

UNF
bolt,
two
nuts, complete
with
lockwashers, and
lift
control valve from
heater box seating.
Check condition
of
sealing
ring and replace
if
necessary.
3 Replace
new
valve in reverse order,
reconnect control cable and adjust.
Heater matrix
To
remove
1 Remove heater,
as
previously described.
2 Drill the head
off
the rivet securing heater
matrix fixing clamp
to
the heater. Tap
out
rivet
shaft and remove
clamp.
3 Remove matrix from heater box.
4 Replace
new
matrix in reverse order securing
matrix fixing
clamp
to
heater box
with
a suitable
rivet.
Heater motor and fan
To
remove
1 Remove heater,
as
previously described.
2 Using
an
allen key through fresh air hose
aperture, remove grub screw and
withdraw
fan
blade from motor spindle.
3 Unscrew
two
retaining nuts and lockwashers
and remove motor from heater box.
4 Replace motor and fan in reverse order.
Heater box
To
remove
1 Remove heater
as
previously described.
2 Remove control valve, heater matrix, arid
motor and fan.
3 Replace in reverse order.
