Sizing components relevant to regeneration
With every application it has to be checked whether the stored
• regeneration continuous power
• regeneration peak power
• regenerated energy
can be absorbed by the internal bleeder (brake resistor).
If the stored power and energy from the mechanical system exceed the
capacity of the bleeder in the drive controller, the next larger unit can be
used, if possible.
