Using Connect Copy

When the number of originals
or copies is small, copying will
be done on only the main ma-
chine.

machine.
Copying starts on the main ma-
chine after the originals are
scanned.
Copying starts on the sub-machine
when data transfer from the main
machine is completed.
Setting originals on the exposure
glass
A Set the next original when the
machine has finished scanning
the first. Press the {

{Start}
}}
} key.
B When all the pages have been
scanned, press the {
{{
{#}
}}
} key.
Note
If the machine is not in use, it
will begin copying.
Using Batch mode
A Place the originals and press
the {
{{
{Start}
}}
} key.
B After the first set of originals
has been fed, place the next set.
Note
The next set of originals must
be set while the Auto Feed
indicator is lit.
To stop scanning or copying,
press the {
{{
{Clear/Stop}
}}
} key on
the main machine, and then
follow the instructions on the
display.

When using the Sort/Staple
function, copying is divided
between the two machines
by the number of sets. If a pa-
per misfeed occurs when
processing a set of copes, it is
not possible for the other ma-
chine to take over the re-
mainder of that particular
set.

Copies are delivered face-down on
both the main and sub machines.
When using the Sort/Staple func-
tion, the processing of one copy set
cannot be divided between the two
machines.
