The Listen-In & Speak Unit is an audio accessory that provides 2-way “listen-in" and/or
"talk” communication to and from the premises (such as between a system user at the site
and the monitoring station). The Listen-In & Speak Unit is also used to broadcast status in
the form of voice announcements (for system events such as alarms, and as confirmation for
user-initiated commands at the time of arming/disarming only – see Voice Announcements,
page 87). Multiple Listen-In & Speak units can be used in the system.
