Because the message is sent to many recipients, the addressees are hidden. If you
want the addressee to be shown, place @ before the email address (e.g.
@j.smith@example.com).
ON – if this option is enabled, event notifications can be sent to the indicated e-mail address.
11.3.1 Events assignment
Select the types of events, the occurrence of which in selected partitions will result in sending
e-mail notifications.
11.3.2 E-mail server
Mail server (SMTP) – address of outgoing mail server.
Server port – number of outgoing mail port.
User name – name of the mail account used for authentication by the SMTP server (mail
account login).
Password – password used for authentication by the SMTP server.
Encryption – you can specify whether and how the outgoing mail is to be encrypted:
none – outgoing mail will not be encrypted.
STARTTLS – outgoing mail will be encrypted using the STARTTLS protocol.
SSL/TLS – outgoing mail will be encrypted using the SSL/TLS protocol.
Do not report SMTP server connection trouble [No SMTP trbl.] – if this option is enabled,
the failure sending e-mail will not trigger any trouble signal.
Subject – subject of the e-mail message. It will be inserted in each e-mail to be sent.
Sender address – e-mail address which will be inserted in the outgoing e-mail message as
the sender address. If this field is blank, the name of e-mail account will be treated as the
sender address.
11.4 Starting the voice messaging
1. Enable the TELEPHONE MESSAGING option.
2. Using the telephone options (see: “Telephone options” p. 68):
– define the mode of dialing the telephone numbers (TONE DIALING option and – in case of
the pulse dialing – PULSE DIALING 1/1.5 (OFF 1/2) option),
– determine whether the control panel, prior to dialing the number, should check the
telephone line for dialing signal (NO DIAL TONE TEST option),
– determine whether the control panel is to play back the voice message after going off-
hook, or 15 seconds after the dialing is completed (global option NO ANSWER TEST).
– determine whether the voice message is to be played back once or twice (option
DOUBLE VOICE MESSAGE).
3. Define the number of attempts to get connected in one round (function MAX. REDIAL
NUMBER FOR ONE ROUND
).
4. Define parameters of the telephones to which messages are to be sent:
– name (up to 16 characters),
– telephone number,
– type of messaging (select 0 – voice),
– number of attempts made by the control panel to notify the indicated telephone
number about the event, if receipt of the message has not been acknowledged,
– how the receipt of voice message is to be acknowledged (if the messaging is to be
acknowledged, enable the ANY CODE option or enter the 4-digit code).
