Control–to–load isolation
The module consists of several function groups which are isolated from each other. In operation
the max. permitted potential difference between these function groups amounts to 50 V. The
signals/connections are assigned to the individual function groups as follows:
a) Analog inputs and outputs (plug connections X4/1 to X4/20 and X5/1 to X5/20) including
internal micro controller area
b) Counting pulse inputs (plug connections X6/1 to X6/4)
c) Digital inputs 5 to 8 (plug connections X6/6 to X6/10)
d) Digital inputs 9 to 12 (plug connections X6/11 to X6/15)
e) Digital inputs 13 to 16 (plug connections X6/16 to X6/20)
f) Digital outputs 1 to 8 (plug connections X7/1 to X7/10)
g) Digital outputs 9 to 16 (plug connections X7/11 to X7/20)
h) PROFIBUS DP connection to connector X3A
i) PROFIBUS DP connection to connector X3B
j) Module supply 24 V DC
