Table 2-1 Explanation of the Error/Status LEDs
Designation
Error type/Status Explanation
INTF Internal error Display of internal errors, meaning that the self–diagnosis has
recognized errors (e.g. voltage monitoring, CPU or memory self–
diagnosis, etc.).
EXTF External error Display of external errors (e.g. short–circuiting at outputs, life–
zero, etc.)
BUSF1 Bus error 1 Display of PROFIBUS–DP errors (for example, no message traf-
fic) for PROFIBUS–DP connection X3A
BUSF2 Bus error 2 Display of PROFIBUS–DP errors (for example, no message traf-
fic) for PROFIBUS–DP connection X3B
RED Redundancy error Display of serious errors at the redundant AddFEM unit
STOP Off–line (stop) The outputs are disabled.
Procedures for setting the PROFIBUS DP addresses and for re-
setting the AddFEM can be executed.
The key can be removed in this position so that unauthorized
changing of the operating mode is not possible.
Only for 6DL3100–8AB/–8AC:
Preprocessing function (FEF) is executed.
In the case of a module redundancy a master/reserve changeo-
ver is forced, so that the module becomes a ”forced reserve”.
DISO Output disable Outputs are de–activated due to commissioning or maintenance
work. AddFEM is in the state STOP or, in the case of a module
redundancy, the AddFEM is the reserve (passive).
USR1 User status 1 ”USER–LED”: Can be used application–specifically in the prepro-
cessing function (FEF) (are controlled like outputs).
SSA Set Slave Address Slave address (PROFIBUS–DP A and B) is set via switch opera-
tion (input procedure). The selected address is displayed via a
signal LED (DI).
USR2 User status 2 ”USER-LED”: Can be used application–specifically in the prepro-
cessing function (are controlled like outputs).
RES AddFEM is
reserve
AddFEM is a reserve unit at present in case of module redun-
dancy.
RUN On–line (run) Execution of the preprocessing functions
