The FEM_AI block must always be available in order to supply the AddFEM. The
FEM_AO block has to be installed in order to output values to the AddFEM.
The two blocks for digital input and output, FEM_DI and FEM_DO, are not neces-
sary, if digital inputs and outputs are not required. In this case the BLOCKCON
output of the FEM_AI block has to be interconnected to the BLOCKCON input of
the FEM_AO block.
The PROFIBUS addresses of the redundant PROFIBUS DP interfaces of the
AddFEM have to be specified at the FEM_AI driver block.
The FEM_AI driver block receives the data from both respective PROFIBUS DP
interfaces of one or both AddFEMs of a correspondingly configured redundancy
operating mode. On the basis of the master/reserve identifier the block recognizes
which interface is the master and outputs the values to the block outputs. The data
received of the passive interfaces or of the AddFEM are rejected. By contrast, the
output message is sent to all the AddFEM interfaces.
PROFIBUS Addressing
PROFIBUS addressing of the assigned AddFEMs is carried out at the four output
parameters G_ADR_1A, G_ADR_1B, G_ADR_2A and G_ADR_2B in WORD for-
mat.
