Connecting the cables
Pay attention to the following when connecting the lines:
● Do not bend contact pins
● All plug connectors are coded against polarity reversal.
The setting of the interfaces is described in section "Technical specifications (Page 105)".
4.4.2 Ports
Note
The PROFINET interfaces are released for operation in a LAN. The PROFINET interfaces
are not suitable for telecommunication interfaces.
The following figure shows the interfaces of the KP8.

In contrast to the KP8, the KP8F has a 16-pin connector for the digital inputs/outputs and for
