6.4.2 Setting the properties for PROFINET
Requirement
● A project is open in "HW Config".
Procedure
1. Double click in the station window on the module.
The dialog box "Properties – KP32F" is displayed.
2. Select the "General" tab.
Parameter Meaning
Device name The IO controller addresses the IO device using its device name.
The device name must be unique within the computer network.
The device name is connected with the IP-address, which is set for
the HMI device.
Device number 1 to 255 or 256 can be set as device number.
Comment Field for a comment on the properties of the module
3. Change the entries, if required.
The changes are displayed in the detail view.
4. If you want to change the current IP address, click the "Ethernet" button.
A dialog window is displayed.
5. Change the entries, if required.
6. Click "OK".
The entries are saved. The dialog box closes.
6.4.3 Setting the properties and addresses of the lights and buttons
This step applies to slots 1 and 2; the properties of the light test for all lamps can only be set
at slot 1.
