6.3.1 Assigning parameters for the KP8 and KP8F
The SIMATIC Manager and HW Config are opened. A project was created with a KP8F.
In the following image, the slots that require parameter assignment are labeled in red.
The setting described in the following uses KP8 as an example and applies similarly for the
KP8F.
Parameters for following slots are entered in HW Config:
● Slot 0 – device identification
